Additional Information
BLS for Healthcare Practitioner: The Basic Life Support Course, accommodating initial and renewal certification, reflects the science and education from the American Heart Association 2015 Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC. It teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics. Using a variety of learning modalities, students participate in self-directed learning, clinical scenarios and interactive learning activities. Students work with faculty to complete successful BLS competency. Students also complete a written exam.
ACLS for Healthcare Practitioner: The Community Partners™ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Renewal course highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, focusing on systems and immediate post-cardiac arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, learning, skills and competency review with case-based scenarios offers the opportunity to provide students with the most current evidence-based education.
PALS for Healthcare Practitioner: The Community Partners™ Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, focusing on systems and immediate post-respiratory and cardiac arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, learning, skills and competency review with case-based scenarios offers the opportunity to provide students with the most current evidence-based education.
NRP for Healthcare Practitioner: The Community Partners™ Neonatal Resuscitation Program introduces students to the concepts and basic skills of neonatal resuscitation. Completion of the program does not imply that an individual has the competence to perform all aspects of neonatal resuscitation. To successfully complete the course, participants must successfully complete the course, pass the final online examination, demonstrate mastery of resuscitation skills and participate in simulated resuscitation scenarios, as determined by the course instructor(s).
